No work today. It may not be the best way to spend my time but I think I'll just watch Michelle Phan's video throughout the day:) I wish my skills could be as refine as hers.

This morning, as I laid on the bed straightening some thoughts out, I thought to myself and wondered "Why isn't my life more interesting?" Everyday, I wish I have something to look forward to and feel excited about. Neh.

If only I can dance again. Just dance my heart out like there is no tomorrow and jiggle the fats away.

This led me to think, if I am still dancing today will I be pursuing the dream of becoming the next top professional dancers like legendary super Ballerinas Margot Fonteyn, Julie Kent and Sylvie Guillem? I think it is impossible. I dreamed of their entering their world and thought I could belong too.

If only I could relive it all over again, I want to have beautiful archs, magnificent jumps and do very cool Pirouettes :)

On a lighter note, this is Michelle Phan again with the Vampirish Gothic look. Enjoy!

I was staring at the camera, trying to fix my hair and the oil on my face while waiting for Simon's "1,23," and he snapped while I was doing so and said he was done with our pictures -.-

Four of us, Simon, 2 aunties from "Mosy" and myself were on our way to Pulau Ubin. It was my 2nd trip there and I have to say I was equally as excited as the first trip I had about 2 years back. One of the best part of the trip was to ride on the boat :) $2.50 per person for 1 ride. The breeze was fantastic and the smell of the sea was surprisingly therapeutic!

And we arrived!

The first thing we did was to look for the BEST place to rent the bicycles. One of the aunties had some trouble picking the bicycle, her legs are shorter and plus she has not been riding on a bicycle for almost 2 decades, she had to try from one bicycle to the next, and finally, she is happy with this one! haha

And so we rode and rode. There were several breathtaking sights which almost blew me away. The View of Quarry was one of them :D Although the heat was irritating, I felt I could just stand there for a long long time to admire the scenery. The water was crystal clear and it looked so alluring that I felt I would dive down and say goodbye. For a moment I thought that place reminded me of France. I think that was Simon's favourite place too. There seems to be some romantic sparks in his eyes when he talks about that place :D

(My camera couldn't capture the essence of the beauty.)

We stopped by a stall and had coconut drinks. Simon said the short break was for the benefit of the aunties:) Cos of the sweltering heat, the drinks certainly tasted refreshing and rejuvenating.

After the drinks, we continued the rest of the journey on the bicycles.

The trip was a great one; our skins were slightly burnt, and my arms and back ache terribly when I got home. Nevertheless, I look forward to the next trip there!
Thanks Simon (:

Michelle Phan never fails to amaze me with her never ending string of ideas and explorations with colours. I attempted but failed horribly... haha. My sister said my eyes looked bruised instead.

Going for Halloween? Maybe you can try! Youtube for her videos!! There are so much more!!

Coastal Scents 88 palatte

I am crazy about make-up lately; the palattes of colours makes my eyes jump and the various tools make my fingers itch. Not really sure why it happens. I used to think doing make-up was a hassle and what is the big deal about it? BUT now, even with the most neutral of colours applied on the eyes, it makes a difference to me:) So I explained to my sister how fabulous we will turn out with the make-ups and probably she could get some for me on my Birthday, we can always share after that:)

So guess what? For my 21st Birthday, my mei mei gmeot these for !

Eye Primer from Etude House

Eco-friendly brushes, eye shadows from Watsons

And falsies!!

When I am really good with these, I will settle my hands on the 88 colour palattes:) Wish me luck!

Apparently, Tinkertonkerbell came from Tinkerbell! Meimei gave an interesting touch by adding "tonker" to Tinker's name:) I loveee it! (Say in Ms Jay's voice)

After watching "Peter Pan", I wished Tinkerbell will pop by someday and sprinkle some of her magic dust on me. Maybe she is so fragile that I might break her while sprinkling some dust on myself.

I think I know how it feels like to elevate from the ground.
